Health Savings Accounts

As the cost of health insurance has skyrocketed, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) have become very popular. Simply put, an HSA is money that you set aside from your payroll check into a special savings account at your bank. You pay for your prescriptions, doctor visits and any other eligible healthcare expenses with an HSA debit card. And because the money you put into the HSA is taken out before payroll taxes, those funds don’t get taxed. So if you think about it, it’s like getting a 25% [±] discount on your health expenses. Now that’s easy money.

High Deductible Plans

A High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) is a low-cost health plan that covers major expenses with a higher deductible. That means less money coming out of your company’s pocket and your employees’ paychecks. Take that, out of control health insurance costs.

Lower Premiums

HDHP plans can be an affordable option for employer-sponsored health plans because the insurance premiums are a lot lower.

Price Advocacy

Higher deductibles mean more upfront costs for employees. So Forum is there to help them make smarter choices about their health expenses.

Preventive Care

Routine physicals, screenings and vaccinations are covered in full from day one of coverage and therefore don’t apply to your deductible. Nice.

Group Life Insurance

When employees elect to participate in company-sponsored life insurance plans, they do so for the peace of mind in knowing their family will be taken care of if something should happen to them. It’s not a scenario that anyone likes to think about, but it is a smart benefit for employers to offer and for employees to consider. Of course not all life insurance plans are created equal. Forum is here to explain the differences and make recommendations that best fit your company’s budget and the lifestyles of your employees. In the big picture, it’s a small price to pay for the loved ones of your workforce.

Temporary Disability Insurance

Simply put, short term or long term disability insurance is income protection for your employees — because not having a regular paycheck due to illness or injury for any period can have a huge impact on individuals and families they provide for. Forum helps companies meet state mandated requirements and relieves staff from the burden of plan administration. We also work alongside insurance providers to help employees with claims and, most importantly, to get them back on their feet at back on the job.
